Now the fun of chatting on WhatsApp is going to be doubled because soon you will be able to create your own avatar based sticker and share it with your friends and relatives. In fact, WhatsApp is working on an ‘Avatar’ section, which will allow users to create virtual representations of themselves and share them as stickers in chats. A feature tracker reported in its report that the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android contains code that allows creating avatars like Facebook and Messenger apps. The company is also planning to allow users to mask themselves during video calls, which may be available in a future update. However, the company has not officially announced any details related to the avatar section yet.
According to a report by WhatsApp feature tracking site WABetainfo, WhatsApp may introduce a dedicated section for avatars on its platform in a future update. This section was seen on beta version 2.22.16.11 for Android, which is available through the Google Play Beta Program. The company is reportedly working on a feature that will allow users to create and customize their own avatars and share them as stickers with their WhatsApp contacts.

Users will be able to mask themselves with these avatars during video calls!
The avatar was reportedly first spotted with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.15.5 for Android. The report further states that WhatsApp may also allow users to mask themselves with these avatars during video calls. WhatsApp has not yet officially announced this feature, which is said to be in the development phase. So, there is no information about its launch timeline yet.
WABetainfo also shared a screenshot. It showed a group of possible avatars that the user would be able to create. Below the photos, there is also a “Create Your Avatar” option. It is also said in the section in the screenshot, “Ek Naya Taheij Ka Apke Hone Ka Ek Naya On WhatsApp”

According to a recent report, WhatsApp is also working on introducing quick reactions for status updates on the Android app. This feature was reportedly spotted with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.16.10 for Android. According to the report, the company is also working on releasing an updated gallery view for the beta version of the Windows desktop WhatsApp app.
