With Independence Day just around the corner, here are some weekend events to add to your calendar to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Southlake:

July 3: Stars & Stripes will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Southlake Town Square, 285 Grand Ave. The event will include performances by the Southlake Swing Band as well as games and concessions. This event is free. https://www.visitsouthlaketexas.com/296/Southlake-Stars-Stripes

Grapevine:

July 4: The 39th Annual July 4th Firework Extravaganza will take place at various Grapevine lakeside park locations including Oak Grove Park, Meadowmere Park, Scott’s Landing Marina and Grapevine Main Station. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be set to patriotic music, according to the city website. Parking and entry fees may apply for some locations. July 4: Gaylord Texan’s 4th of July Spark the Lot features an interactive DJ and band as well as food and drinks starting at 6 p.m. The event, located at 1501 Gaylord Trail, is followed by Grapevine’s annual firework Extravaganza, a 24-minute show attendees can watch from the top of the resort’s garage starting at 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased online here.

Worth the trip:

July 4: The Northeast Tarrant Chamber’s Family 4th Celebration will take place at 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The firework display will be accompanied by a simultaneous drone show that will form light shapes in coordination with the pyrotechnics. This event is free to attend.
