A house in Chatham that sold for $7 million tops the list of the most expensive real estate sales in Cape Cod between Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.

In total, 73 real estate sales were recorded in the area during the last week, with an average price of $866,730, $519 per square foot.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Jan. 15., even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.3 million, single-family residence at 17 Redgate Lane

A sale has been finalized for the single-family home at 17 Redgate Lane in Falmouth. The price was $1,325,000 and the new owners took over the house in December. The house was built in 1995 and the living area totals 2,092 square feet. Paul Citarell and Amy Citarell acquired the house from G Guenther Ret Robin. The price per square foot ended up at $633. The deal was finalized on Dec. 28.

9. $1.4 million, single-family home at 89 Fairview Avenue

The property at 89 Fairview Avenue in South Chatham has new owners. The price was $1,350,000. The house was built in 1991 and has a living area of 1,997 square feet. The price per square foot is $676. Scott T Smith and Kathleen M Smith sold the house to Stephen Mcdonald. The deal was finalized on Dec. 30.

The transfer of ownership was settled in December and the total purchase price was $2,500,000, $1,054 per square foot. The house was built in 1949. Mary E Est Flanagan sold the house to Edward Stafford and Brenda Stafford. The deal was finalized on Dec. 30.

The sale of the detached house at 12 Overlook Circle, Orleans, has been finalized. The price was $2,600,000, and the house changed hands in December. Jeffrey Cowling and Robin Cowling acquired the house from Real Estate Ta Selz. The house was built in 1972 and has a living area of 4,021 square feet. The price per square foot was $647.
